In the fantasy sports world, getting news more quickly than your leaguemates is a huge advantage. It lets you beat your competition in adding players to your team (if they're available), make the proper start/sit decisions, and help you find trade opportunities.

Fantasy News and Updates: Stay Ahead of Your Competition

Our Fantasy News App for iOS has been hugely popular -- with the ability to not only receive league-wide breaking news across all sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL), but follow specific players for highly relevant news, people have been using it to great advantage in their fantasy leagues.

Previously, you were only able to receive breaking news for a sport and manually follow players. Now, you can sync your fantasy league from any one of our supported hosts (i.e. basically all of them) to automatically follow all the players on your team(s).

This means any time there is an injury, you'll be the first to know with a push notification on your iPhone. Then, you can react quickly by picking up their backup (Chuba Hubbard, anyone?).

Fresh New Design

To help make checking out breaking news, scores, and content as pleasurable as possible, we've completely updated the application for an improved look and feel.

You can now easily see the news feed, view live scores, switch between sports, follow and unfollow players, view fantasy articles, and watch FantasyPros videos in a slick, simple interface.

Easily and quickly sync your team to automatically follow and receive relevant breaking news.

Customized News Feed

Choose to view your fantasy news feed by only players you are following (either by syncing your league or manually following players), viewing it by news category (injury reports, game recaps, rumors, or transactions), viewing it by professional team, or condensing it down to get as much information in one screen as possible.

Live Fantasy Plays and Scores

There's no longer a need to switch to a different app to check on game scores. You can view live scoring, along with betting spread and point total over/unders in the Scores tab.

Tapping on any of the games will display scoring breakdown, along with betting odds, player stats, game plays, and the fantasy feed, which breaks down every fantasy relevant play in the game.

The fantasy feed will display fantasy point totals per play – an exciting new way to keep tabs on players and who's putting up numbers for (or against) your team.

Game Day: Fantasy Leaders and Stats in Real Time

Some of you may be familiar with Game Day, which is available on the web and in our My Playbook mobile apps. This experience is now added and updated for the Fantasy News and Scores app.

During the NFL, every Thursday, Sunday, and Monday, Game Day will feature every fantasy relevant play across the league in one feed.

If you sync your leagues, you'll also be able to see the plays that are relevant only to you. You can filter to view all players, only players on your team(s), only opposing players, or available players (is someone blowing up that is available on waivers?)

Additionally, you can see fantasy leaderboards across the league and, if your leagues are synced, see your fantasy matchups across all of your leagues!

We're really pumped about this new feature and hope it becomes a staple (next to Red Zone, of course) in your fantasy experience.
